2月24日（水）日本記者クラブにて『英語でハイク』英語俳句のワークショップを開催しました。講師はESUJではすっかりおなじみの宮下惠美子先生。今回が7回目となる人気プログラムです。開催に先立ち宮下先生からは兼題がでており、”spring chill （春寒）”,”cats in love（猫の恋）”での事前投句を受付け、熱心な参加者の皆様が応募くださいました。当日はそれぞれが自句を説明、作者の視点と、それをどう表現するかについて鑑賞しながら学びました。最後には「朧月」で即席の一句。知的な時間でした。
The group met for the seventh time on February 24 (Wed.) at the Japan National Press Center to read and discuss haiku they had written on the themes of “Cats in Love” and “Spring Chill”. Internationally renowned English-language haiku poet Emiko Miyashita leads the group meetings.
